Flooring Estimator
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join our team in Del Mar, CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Review project plans and specifications to accurately estimate flooring material and labor costs.
- Conduct site visits to assess scope of work and gather measurements.
- Create detailed and competitive bids for residential and commercial flooring projects.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and project managers to ensure accurate estimates and timely communication.
- Analyze project requirements to recommend suitable flooring solutions and materials.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
Skills needed:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
