Full-Time CDL-A Driver / Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team in Castle Rock, Colorado. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport freight within the local area and efficiently handling freight using a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and forklift to ensure safety and compliance.
• Transport freight to and from designated locations within the local region, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using a forklift, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight.
• Maintain accurate delivery and shipping documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries.

Skills Needed:

• Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record.
Proficiency in operating a forklift and understanding of safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
